RECALIBRATION 13
The possibilities of the finished work of Christ on the cross should not be undermined nor demeaned else we err and thereby fall from the Grace of God that brings salvation. It is on this platform that God is raising agents of mutation who will bring to light mysteries of the age sealed before the foundation of the world but now revealed in the face of Christ and as these envoys arises they will begin to deflate the erected balloon of religion that has held many in captives for donkey years and the hold of legalism inconsistent with the true kingdom doctrine would find their exit out of the gate; for this cause we Labour.
Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the Kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the Kingdom of God. 1 Corinthians 6: 9-10
The above scripture reveals an important aspects of those who are perpetually indebted to the life sponsored by darkness; the lot of such personas at the end of the age is captured with clarity without mincing words. However we'll need to do a deep study of who these words were addressed to in order to accurately decipher the recipients. God hates sins but He loves sinners not for them to remain in sin but for them to be transformed into the Kingdom of light. He does not wish that any should perish but that we all come into the Knowledge of the truth therefore he shows sinners love in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for the ungodly(Romans 5:6, John 3:16) because the sinner of today can become the saint of tomorrow.
The problem with the conventional preachers is that they stopped at that verse of scripture without proceeding to see the light God is trying to reveal to us the believer to see who we truly are because *it is knowledge of your essence in Christ that determines your mastery over carnality. *A believer is at the mercy of the Knowledge of Christ he has captured* this has nothing to do with your duration or the number of years you have spent in church, *there can be longevity in church without connectivity with Christ*
The above scripture revealed our state when we were in the world under the custodianship of darkness but when we came into Christ we made progress by transiting from darkness into his marvellous light (Col 1:13) so those characters and attributes ought not to be named amongst us any longer because we are not supposed to be regulated by our old lives. When you proceed further into the next verse our present status was revealed explicitly even a blind man can capture it.
The next verse says " And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God. (1Cor 6:11) I like us to note the tenses used in that verse, the bible says And such were(past tense) some of you.. Did you see that? This is now revealing our present status quo and identity in Christ. One problem with the teachers of the word many a times is we teach out of context and make a doctrine out of a verse without proper consideration for the root of the scripture we are expounding. The branch is embraced but the root is debased.
Those aforementioned qualities are not supposed to be found in the man in Christ, the man in Christ lives above sin as he constantly aligns with the Spirit. If you are still constantly trapped in SIN as a believer you need to consistently renew your mind with the word because that is a strange spirit, the bible says thy word have I hidden in my heart that I might not sin against you(Psalms 119:11)
The moment you got born again a new nature was installed into you that eschews evil such that you now have the capacity to live above sin, the bible says for sin shall not have dominion over you because ye are not under the law but under Grace, the word Grace is Christ and what Grace came to teach us according to Titus 2:12 is to deny ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously and godly in this present world.
Brethren those secret sins you indulge in is strange to your new ecosystem, you can't live in sin because you have a new nature in Christ Jesus, you're the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus, you're seated together with Christ Jesus in heavenly places far above! your present location defies sin and all manner of ungodliness. As you're reading this piece the Lord is recalibrating you because you're being delivered from ignorance, enough of the devil toiling and toying with your mind. Go for the word, reach out to the word of life and soak with it in the light of who you're in Christ and you'll never remain the same again. Jesus won the victory, there is nothing left for the devil. YOU HAVE ALSO WON IN CHRIST. HALLELUJAH!
The devil is angry right now because he knows you now KNOW.
