THE UNTOUCHABILITY OF KOGI STATE BY COVID-19 By Leke Bankole, Bsc, ACIB(In view)

1. Kogi(The confluence State as it's popularly called) is the only state in Nigeria bordered by 10states and the FCT, Abuja. 

2. The peculiarity of Kogi state in this geographical representation of the  presence of COVID 19 in various Nigeria states sterns from the fact that despite sharing territorial boarders with 11 states(the Coloured pitch part of the map),it has remained untouchable to the world most dreaded virus at this time. It has also in this time shown a rare record of being one out of the two only state in Nigeria yet to record any case of Covid-19(The other is Cross River State)

3. The Blue Part in the Map shows the other 22 States with  Confirmed Cases of COVID-19.

Questions for Further Research are;

1. Could it be that the land boarder is well monitored Viz-a-Viz interstate movement? 

2. Could it be the climatic atmosphere does not give room for COVID 19 to thrive?

3. Could it be that there are no enough test centres?
