RECALIBRATION 2
We began a spiritual escapade yesterday with the intent of shifting our attention back to Jesus and likewise revealing our identity in Christ Jesus. I sensed strongly in the days that are upon us that there would be need for intense and accurate doctrine so that we'll not be tossed to and fro by every wind of doctrines so we Labour as one authorised to reveal the realities of Christ as unveiled in this season.
To corroborate my point as touching believing JESUS IS THE CHRIST, I will take my coordinate from 1 John 5:1 "Whosoever believed that *Jesus is the Christ* is born of God.
Please take note that the same writer who scribbled Saint John's gospel also penned the Epistles of John( 1st, 2nd and 3rd John). He revealed to us the exact purpose why the synoptic gospel was given, so that we MIGHT believe but here we see him writing again to us that whosoever believes, it doesn't matter whether he was once a murderer or she was once a prostitute or any manner of sin you were stuck in. Whosoever means anyone from any clan, race, tribe irrespective of colour differences as long as you believe that Jesus is THE CHRIST not just Jesus Christ you're BORN OF GOD. Oh my! This is powerful, that a mortal man is born from the womb of immortality on the strength of his believe is worth shouting for.
Listen clearly brethren there was nothing special you did to be born of God or rather to receive eternal life other than BELIEVING AND CONFESSING THE LORDSHIP OF JESUS THE CHRIST, from that time onward God took his permanent residence in you, you became the vessel mobilising God such that as you move God moves so when you are praying Lord come down He replies Son I'm in you. It's a pity that religious minded folks struggle with this truth, they are like the Pharisees who deprive the people from accessing the Kingdom and yet they are not going in.
The moment you said yes to Jesus instantly you were born of the seed of immortality which is the incorruptible seed. Let's see 1 Peter 1:23 " Being born again not of corruptible seed but of incorruptible, by the word of God which lives and abide forever. Prior to this experience the seed that was inserted Into you was corruptible because we were from the Adamic race and Adam was just a living soul being so everyone who modelled after him became a living soul race with corruption being the order of the day that's why you can't live without sin but at New birth the process mutated, the believer in Christ transformed from that state of being called Living Soul( corruptible) and became a life giving Spirit( incorruptible). The believer became what Jesus became at resurrection that's why Jesus didn't just die for you but he died as YOU( Romans 6:3-6), we were dead together, baptized into his death and resurrected with Him so as He is so are we (1John 4:17).
This revelation truth is what open you up to your identity in Him and when you soak with these truths consistently by setting your gaze and focus on Jesus you will live an exemplary life, freed from error, the battle with sin becomes effortless when you understand your status in Christ. Do you see why we have to Labour in the word and consistent prayers in other that these realities would find a place in our heart.
At New birth a believer in Christ mutated into a Godrace by Grace just as Jesus became man so that man can become God on this earth, Psalm 82:6 " I have said ye are gods and all of you are the children of the most high. If this truth becomes tattooed in you God would be easier seen in YOU than SELF.
