RECALIBRATION 5
I believe strongly that since the inception of these series we have been blessed immensely, the feedbacks have been positive and we look forward to pressing further into these revealed truths as captured within the lens of Christ. It's a new day and New dawn for us where if it is not Christ then it is not the gospel, if we embrace these truths then we are going to drive charlatans and native doctors in suit and garments away from the pulpit.
In this episode I'm going to show you something very powerful and pivotal as revealed by the scriptures about the concept of eternal life, open your heart for recalibration as we gaze on Christ Jesus and please there is every tendency that this episode would be a bit longer than the previous ones in order to do justice to the subject matter without leaving any part untouched as the case may be.
Let's take our coordinate from John 17:3 " And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom thou hast sent. This was Jesus giving expression to some realities as he prepares to go to the cross and these expressions were captured by John the beloved. Jesus revealed some certain mysteries one of which was the reception of eternal life on the template of the Knowledge of Him and secondly he mentioned a striking statement which is the only TRUE GOD.
Basically eternal life is received on the platform of the revelational knowledge of Christ Jesus, without Christ eternal life is not in view and you can't know Him without regeneration or being born again. In essence, being born again is the amalgamation of deity with humanity, it is a union between humanity and divinity, it is this union between these two entities that births ETERNAL LIFE. To come into the full scope of Jesus' utterance in that passage of scripture we'll need to visit the epistle captured by this same writer because Jesus mentioned a striking statement THE ONLY TRUE GOD.
Let's navigate quickly into 1 John 5:20 "And we know that the son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding that we may know him that is true, and we are in Him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.
I wish you saw what Bro John captured in that passage of scripture, he is bringing us into the awareness of who the TRUE GOD is. Firstly he told us the son of God is come, and hath given us an *UNDERSTANDING*, the same way in Luke 24:45 that Jesus opened their understanding so as to understand the scriptures. Jesus hath quickened us to understand who the TRUE GOD is and the bible explicitly said, "..... even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the TRUE GOD and eternal life. So Jesus is both eternal life and true God so a man in Christ possesses both eternal life and true God though the two are indivisible because if you have eternal life you have the TRUE GOD resident on your inside.
Do you see why our gaze and focus should be on Jesus? Let me quickly show you what the company of the Godhead did to Jesus, the council of the immortals collapsed into one indivisible entity and that one entity is CHRIST, that's why Jesus embodies the Godhead bodily, Colossians 2:9 For in him(Christ) dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily.. So the entirety of the totality of the immortals compressed themselves into ONE, they agreed he should embody all that makes them God and that's how Jesus became the TRUE GOD and the believer in Christ also came into this experience, verse 10 of Colossians 2 says "And ye(believers) are complete in Him which is the head of all principalities and power, we became complete because we now embody this same Christ who is an embodiment of the deity of heaven. The believer took his seat in the Godhead on the template of Jesus' finished work, that's why the bible said we are seated together with Christ Jesus in heavenly places. The day you got born again you became a dual citizens of heaven and earth (John 3:13), you have immortality(nature) in your mortality, your spirit nature took on the garment of divinity.
Do you remember when Philip said to Jesus show us the FATHER, Jesus responded wondering how slow of heart Philip was. Jesus said have you been with me this long and you are yet to know the FATHER and Jesus said a powerful statement, if you have seen me you have seen the father because I am in my father and my father is in me( John 14:8-10). As we speak the only access to the Godhead is Jesus, in fact the address and the name of the Godhead is Jesus Christ , how do i know that? In Matthew's gospel 28:19 Jesus said go ye therefore and teach all nations baptizing them in the name of the FATHER, and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost, this same statement was repeated by Bro Peter in Acts 2:38 but with an higher level of understanding of who Jesus became after resurrection. Let's see the account "Then Peter said unto them, repent and be baptized everyone of you in the name of Jesus Christ..... Did you see Peter substituting the name of the FATHER, SON AND THE HOLY GHOST for JESUS CHRIST? My point is that Jesus is the FATHER revealed and this is why at the name of Jesus Christ every knee must bow, every created beings submit to that name, demons checks out when that name is uttered with understanding. Shout JESUS! with understanding wherever you are and let that devil, sickness, sin, poverty, stagnancy bow out right now.
How I wish I could go on and on but we'll press on in my next piece. This is how you live in victory and gain mastery over the wiles of the devil and the viccissitudes of life when you know what Christ did and you live thereby. When you are abreast with these realities prayers can be prayed 24hours being conscious of God, fellowship with the immortals would become normal and natural, with this in view there won't be consciousness of sin or any form of addiction.
